Responsibilities:

• Food preparation for patients according to set menu, standardized recipes, patient's medical diet order, and CMS standards.
• Food preparation for the Café based on supervisor approved menu, direction, and recipes.
• Complete all logs as assigned by supervisor.
• Complete daily and periodic cleaning assignments.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment. Follow State and County sanitation regulations.
• Job assignments might include dishes, restocking/organizing, cleaning oven, cleaning fryer, cleaning reach-in/walk-in coolers/freezers, deep cleaning floors or equipment, disposing of grease or trash, or other activities assigned by supervisor according to business need.
• Perform tasks using appropriate safety equipment and follow all safety standards.
• Report all issues found that relate to patient care, safety, and sanitation to appropriate authority and direct supervisor.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Previous nutrition services experience preferred.
• Current Clay County food handler's permit or Serve Safe required within 30 days of hire.
